Smokers
The photograph titled “Bee Smokers” presents traditional beekeepers’ tools — smokers used to calm bees during work with hives. Made from simple materials, they feature a characteristic elongated spout for releasing smoke and a metal chamber for smoldering tinder or decayed wood. The specimens in the image appear old, covered with soot and rust, which emphasizes their many years of use. The contrast between the black traces of smoke and the white snow enhances the sense of authenticity and historicity of these objects.
