Yarilo

Yarilo

The painting “Yarilo” is a decorative-symbolic canvas built upon the powerful interplay of color and rhythm. At the center of the composition is a radiant solar circle, created from multicolored strokes of yellow, white, red, and blue tones, radiating outward like beams, evoking an outburst of light or a solar explosion. The background is enriched with ornamental elements resembling archaic symbols, referencing the pagan roots of the cult of Yarilo — the god of spring, fertility, and solar energy. The painting is perceived as a hymn to the sun and to life, where decorativeness and expression merge into a unified image.
