The Sea
The work “Sea” conveys the power and dynamism of the marine element. The artist employs broad brushstrokes and impasto texture to depict the waves, creating a sense of movement and unrest. The bright sails of ships stand out against the gray-blue mass of water, intensifying the drama of the scene. The composition is arranged in such a way that the viewer feels like a participant in the maritime action, immersed in the atmosphere of the elemental force.

Born on April 12th, 1938 in the village of Terehovka of Gomel Region (Belarus).Graduated from Mozyr Pedagogical Institute (I960), Kiev Pedagogical Institute (I960).Works in the field of decorative and applied art (gobelin, batik) and easel painting.From 1987 participated in art exhibitions.Artworks are found in private collections and picture galleries of a number of countries of Europe, USA and Japan.Since 1972 till 1988 — taught an aesthetics in Vocational Training School in the town of Baranovichi, since 1988 — in state of Brest Integrated Complex «Mastatstva».Since 1992 works in the art workshop called «Romeiko Art-Atelier».Lives in Baranovichi.
