Through an unexpected trouble
The painting “Through Unexpected Misfortune” is executed in an expressive manner with pronounced symbolism. The composition is divided into two parts — dark and light — creating a sense of confrontation between tragedy and hope. In the lower part are village buildings and a church immersed in autumn colors. At the center stand golden trees reaching upward, symbolizing life and renewal.
In the background stretches a dramatic sky, combining cold grays with fiery yellow tones. Across this space fly storks, perceived as a sign of rebirth, memory, and continuity of life.
