Midday of the Poet
The graphic work “Poet’s Noon” is built on the contrast between a monumental architectural form and dynamic, almost fantastical figures. The female images placed atop the structure carry an allegorical meaning — the muses of poetry and inspiration, rising above the heaviness of the earthly. The contrast between the strict geometry of the building and the plasticity of the figures enhances the drama of the composition, creating the impression of a mystical performance.
