Гобелен Oginsky Polonaise. Gobelin
The painting “Ogiński’s Polonaise” carries a symbolic and musical-emotional character. A dark figure, almost like a silhouette, emerges from the depth of the composition, surrounded by dynamic strokes of ochre-white and brown tones, reminiscent of the movement of fire or the resonance of powerful musical chords. The artist seeks to convey not so much external reality as the atmosphere of tragic beauty and sorrow embodied in M. K. Ogiński’s famous work “Farewell to the Homeland.” The contrast between deep darkness and flashes of light enhances the dramatic effect and resonates with the mood of the polonaise.
