Red cloud
The painting “Red Cloud” is executed in an expressionist manner with elements of decorative stylization. The composition is built on the contrast between a calm earthly landscape with rows of fields and trees, and an extraordinarily bright, almost abstract cloud formation. The cloud is depicted in concentric layers of color — from crimson and scarlet at the center to pink and light blue at the edges. Against its background, a round shape of the moon or the sun stands out.
This approach transforms a natural phenomenon into a symbol, evoking the idea of cosmic energy hidden within the everyday.
