Red road
The painting “Red Road” belongs to the abstract-expressionist tradition and is built on the contrast of vivid color spots and textured overlays. At the center is the intense red color, which sets the dramatic rhythm of the composition and is perceived as a symbol of movement, tension, and destiny. Against its background emerge figurative hints — outlines of forms reminiscent of human silhouettes or mythological images, immersed in a space of struggle and interaction. Yellow and white inclusions on the left side of the canvas oppose the dark blue and violet masses on the right, reinforcing the sense of a dialogue between light and darkness, life and destruction. The painterly surface of the work is filled with the energy of the brushstroke, which gives the canvas emotional vibration. The “road” in the title is not perceived as a literal landscape motif, but as a metaphor of a path — spiritual, historical, or inner — imbued with drama and tension
