Native Place
In the work Native Land, the artist lovingly captures a landscape familiar since childhood — village houses with thatched roofs, dense foliage, and a blooming garden. The composition is arranged in such a way that the viewer feels immersed in the scene, as if they are part of this tranquil life. The painting is filled with light, air, and lively brushwork reminiscent of Impressionist technique.
Particular attention is given to the trees: a tall spruce, the broad crown of a deciduous tree, and shrubs all convey the natural rhythm of the environment. The color palette is rich yet restrained — soft greens, browns, yellows, and blues evoke warmth and comfort. Every brushstroke expresses reverence for the land, the home, and memory. This is more than a rural landscape; it is an image of spiritual attachment to one’s homeland — to the places where the human soul begins.
