Nikolay Churabo
Born on December 24th, 1913 in Minsk (Belarus). Studied at the Vitebsk Art Technical School (1930-1933), graduated from the Moscow Art Institute named after V.I. Surikov (1940). Took part in art exhibitions since 1939. From 1964 to 1996 he conducted 13 personal exhibitions. Worked in easel painting in genres of a picture, portrait, landscape, as well as in easel and book drawing. He taught a drawing and painting at the Brest Civil Engineering Institute (1966-1982). The works are in different museums and picture galleries of Belarus and Russia, as well as in private collections of different countries. A member of the BAD since 1947. Died on January 29th, 1998
