“Maple Branch” is a pastel work executed in an abstract-impressionist manner. The main focus is on a vivid golden-yellow patch of foliage that stands out against a background of soft gray-blue and green tones. Light, blurred strokes create an impression of wind movement and the fleeting nature of the moment. The composition is built on the contrast of light and dark, enhancing the sense of depth and emotional expressiveness

Konstantin Kolodich

Born on April 12th, 1953 in the city of Pinsk (Belarus). Graduated from the Architecture Department of the Brest Civil Engineering Institute (1975). Works in the easel drawing (pastel). Since 1977 he is a participant of art exhibitions and competitions for the best architectural designs of different buildings. Since 1996 he teaches at the Brest Polytechnic Institute. A member of the BAU since 1995. Lives in Brest
