Autumn landscape

Autumn landscape

The painting Autumn Landscape is executed in a free, expressive style that conveys mood rather than detail. The dominant elements are the massive trees ablaze with russet and earthy-green foliage, towering over the village houses and haystacks, evoking a sense of warmth and shelter. The composition is well-balanced, and the broad brushstrokes add a sense of vitality and texture.

The artist skillfully plays with light and color: set against a nearly white sky, the forms appear especially rich, as if illuminated by the last rays of sun. The landscape feels suspended in autumn's golden hour, when time slows down and everything is hushed. This is more than a rural scene — it is a reflection on the harmony of human life and nature, on timelessness and calm.
