Old town. Gobelin
The work titled “Old Town. Tapestry” is executed in the technique of artistic textile. The triptych consists of three vertical panels with elongated fringes at the bottom. The composition is based on stylized depictions of architectural forms — houses, towers, roofs, and streets reminiscent of old city quarters. The artist employs subdued tones — white, ochre, brown, gray, and reddish — which create a sense of antiquity while also conveying warmth. The texture of woolen yarn adds tactile expressiveness to the tapestry, while the rhythm of repeating fragments makes it decorative and cohesive.
