Autumn flowers
The painting “Autumn Flowers” is executed in the tradition of the expressive still life, where the main role is played by painterly texture and the power of color. A bouquet in a simple green vase is depicted with free, broad brushstrokes, which give the flowers a sense of living dynamism. Red and white flowers contrast with the cool blue background, creating vibration and emotional tension. The artist deliberately avoids excessive detail: petals and leaves are treated in a generalized way, yet they retain the rhythm and energy of real nature. The contrast of light and shadow, noticeable on the surface of the table and in the depth of the space, intensifies the drama of the composition. In this work, “autumn” is revealed not through narrative, but through emotional coloring — as the sensation of fleeting yet vivid beauty of passing time
