White asters
The painting “White Asters” is a still life executed in the realist tradition. At the center of the composition is a clay jug with a bouquet of white asters, distinguished by their fluffy, needle-like petals. Against the gray-blue wall, the flowers stand out with their freshness and luminous whiteness. One flower lies at the base of the vase, creating a sense of naturalness and slight asymmetry. The contrast between the brown-orange vessel and the cool background enhances the expressiveness of the white blossoms.
