White melody
The painting “White Melody” is an example of a lyrical landscape, where the minimalism of forms is combined with the richness of painterly nuances. Almost the entire surface of the canvas is taken up by a snowy field, rendered with delicate gradations of bluish and violet shades, creating the impression of a light musical vibration. On the horizon stands out a bright strip of forest — in warm golden-red and cool violet tones — forming a harmonious chord of color contrasts. The silhouetted lightness of the trees, their rhythmic repetition, and the transparency of the brushwork lend the composition a musical quality, close to the idea of a pictorial symphony. In the distance, almost lost in the whiteness, a small silhouette of a sleigh can barely be seen, introducing an element of human presence and deepening the poetic resonance of the work. The painting is perceived as a hymn to winter silence and purity, where whiteness becomes a metaphor for contemplative harmony and the endless melody of nature
