Melodies of old Brest
“Melodies of Old Brest” — a warm and vibrant scene of urban life, where the street becomes a musical score of existence, filled with sunlight and movement
“Melodies of Old Brest” is an urban landscape sketch painted in a lively manner with broad impasto brushstrokes. The painting conveys the atmosphere of a cozy old street in Brest, where the whitewashed walls of houses reflect the sunlight, and the green roofs create a rhythmic framing. Along the street, people stroll and sit, evoking the rhythm of everyday life. Light and color generate the impression of a warm day, filled with the unhurried life of the old city.
