Valeriy Kovalchuk

Born on January 18th, 1961 in Brest (Belarus). Graduated from the Republican boarding school of music and fine arts (1979) and the Belarussian Theatre and Art Institute (1984). Works in the field of monumental and decorative art (sgraffito, encaustic, fresco, mosaic) and in easel painting in genres of a picture, portrait and landscape. Since 1982 he is a participant of art exhibitions. The works are in private collections in the Czech Republic, Germany and Poland. Since 1995 he is an associate professor at the Brest State Technical University. A member of the BAU since 1991. Lives in Brest.
