Nikolay Maevskiy
Born on March Ist, 1950 in the village of Dvortsy of Brest Region (Belarus). Graduated from the Leningrad Art School named afetr V.A. Serov (1979). Works in the field of the easel painting and water-colour painting in genres of lyric landscape and still life, in monumental and decorative art. Since 1979 he takes part in art exhibitions and plenary meetings. Has held two personal exhibitions in Germany (2000-2001). The works are in museums and picture galleries of Minsk and Brest, as well as in private collections in a number of European countries. The chairman of the Board of the Brest regional branch of the BAD (1989-1991). A member of the В AU since 1987. Lives in Brest
