Ivan Fetisov
Honored Worker of Culture of the Republic of Belarus (1989). Born on October 21, 1920, in the urban-type settlement of Tuma, Ryazan Region (Russia). Participant of the Great Patriotic War. Graduated from the Ivanovo Art School (1947). Participant in art exhibitions since 1947. Held solo exhibitions in Brest (1970) and Minsk (1992). Worked in all genres of easel painting and was the author of architectural and artistic designs for the exhibitions of several museums in the Brest region. His works are held in major museums and art galleries of Belarus. Honorary citizen of the village of Mokraya Yelmuta, Rostov Region (Russia). Member of the Belarusian Union of Artists since 1949. Passed away on October 5, 1994.
