Anton Uss
BBorn on July 12th, 1894 in the village of Mishukovichi (now Minsk Region, Belarus). Studies at the Moscow University (1925-1929) and at Moscow post-graduate courses of the red professors (1929-1932). An art critic. Published his works since 1930. The author of articles in history and theory of fine arts of Belarus and Russia. Worked at the Institute of Language, Literature and Art of the Academy of Sciences of BSSR (1944-1948); i 1948-1956 he worked as a teacher at institutes. A professor. A member of the BAU. Died on January 11th, 1980
