Healthy weight loss: nutrition, mindset, habits, and safe physical activity.

How to lose weight without harming your body

We, females — delightful, versatile creatures — are always searching for solutions to pressing questions, in particular: what tasty thing to eat and how to lose weight afterwards. The first problem brings a lot of pleasure in winter, while the second begins to brazenly occupy the whole mind as beach season approaches. How to quickly get rid of unnecessary kilograms without harming yourself and without gaining the weight back as quickly as you lose it — that's quite a problem, but fortunately for us, it is perfectly solvable.

First of all, you need to decide on your priorities. Do we aim to slim down to a top-model state (that emaciated creature is almost sexless, the best hanger for showing clothes), or do we simply want to be more beautiful, elegant, and refined? We will not consider the first option, because extreme ways of losing weight are not for us. So, every weight-loss process begins with cleansing the body of toxins, followed by a specific eating plan and physical exercises.

Cleansing can be done in many ways, but one of the best is fasting days or special diets.

Detox diets should necessarily include fresh fruits, vegetables and freshly squeezed juices, which contain dietary fiber and allow the body to cleanse itself.

Once the body is freed from wastes and other harmful substances, we move on to a weight-loss diet. Any weight-loss diet pursues different goals, but the most important is to minimize calorie intake. How you do this is up to you; what matters is that you feel comfortable and are able to function. Almost all diets exclude carbohydrates and fats (in other words, all the tastiest things). If your goal is rapid weight loss, we recommend trying mono-diets — diets that consist of eating only one type of food, for example buckwheat, kefir, apples, and similar. Such diets are effective and can be healthy, but only for a few days at most. The trouble is that most foods contain not only fats, proteins and carbohydrates, but also many beneficial substances without which the body cannot function properly. On such a diet you do not get many of the nutrients needed for active life.

Which weight-loss diets should be considered optimal? Low-calorie, well-balanced ones that include all components required by the body. In other words, the diet should include all valuable foods: meat, fish, grains, vegetables and fruits, all fresh or boiled. It would also be good to include nuts and seeds — surprisingly, the fats found in such products, as well as fish oil, do not cause weight gain; on the contrary, they help prevent it.

Quick weight loss without unnecessary worries — the most important points:

  • Eat small portions, but more often, about five times a day.
  • And drink a larger amount of fluids, approximately 1.5 liters a day. Naturally, not soda, and of course plain water. If you do this, everything will be fine — you'll see.
