Skomorokh
The graphic work “Skómorekh” is filled with expression and symbolism. The figure of the jester is depicted in motion — he walks, swinging his arms, holding musical instruments. His body and clothing are treated decoratively: ornaments, stripes, and geometric patterns transform the character into an almost cosmic symbol of festivity and energy. The characteristic “horns” on his cap reinforce the image of an ancient folk clown — performer and bearer of the culture of laughter. Around the figure, movement swirls — lines, strokes, and radiance emphasize sound, music, and joy.
