Festive still life
The painting “Festive Still Life” is a decorative composition executed in a style reminiscent of mosaic or stained glass. The artist employs bright, saturated colors: red, yellow, purple, and white flowers create the illusion of a celebratory bouquet. However, the shapes of petals and leaves are treated in a conventional, geometric manner, which enhances the decorative effect. The surface of the painting seems to shimmer with multiple facets and reflections, reminiscent of a kaleidoscope. The overall composition is dynamic, rhythmic, and filled with energy, while the contrasts of light and dark convey a sense of festivity.
