Iconic characters in Russian cinema — what makes them memorable.
Heroes of Beloved Russian Cinema
Judging by the history of Soviet cinema, the actors of our film industry produced an outstanding catalogue of works of our cinematic art. Considering the worldview of that era, one conclusion comes to mind — Russian film actors had a difficult task in perfectly conveying the images of their characters. And despite all the hardships faced by actors in the USSR, Russian cinema managed to survive and passed its skills on to our contemporary actors. To this day many of us read the biographies of Russian actors and look through actors' photographs. Today's domestic film actors owe much to their predecessors, because studying the performances of earlier native actors can teach a great deal.
At a certain point there was stagnation in Russian cinema, and the heroes of Russian films found themselves almost out of work, but today films shot by domestic directors and performed by actors from our country win awards at international and national film festivals.
One contemporary figure to mention is an actor — more precisely, an actress and simply a talented, wonderful young woman, Dasha Sagalova. She is a genuine talent among today's students of theatrical schools. Dasha Sagalova's career began immediately after graduating from gymnasium, which, it should be noted, she finished with a silver medal. In addition to attending Gymnasium No. 7, Dasha studied at the "Fantasia" choreography school, through which her first director noticed her and offered her a role in the play "Cinderella". After "Cinderella" she took part in rehearsals for a stage production of "The Nutcracker". It is worth noting that it was in "The Nutcracker" that the young actress began her stage work.
Sagalova immediately went on to study at two universities after finishing gymnasium. The first, at her mother's wish, was the Plekhanov Academy in the Faculty of Finance and Credit. The other, by her own choice, was the Moscow University of Culture and Arts. Even before finishing the University of Culture and Arts, Dasha began acting in films; at that time Sagalova was already considered a well-known Russian actress.
The actress has already appeared in many films and TV series, including the comedy series "Happy Together", where she played the daughter of her namesake, Darya. In addition, her portfolio includes roles such as Yulia Voronina in Vasily Panin's film "On the River Devitsa", Rimma in V. Merezhko's picture "Loneliness of Love", Yulia in the film "Right to Love", and many others.
