Security solutions: custom design, modern tech, and flexible professional approach.
Home and business security require an individual approach
An individual approach has become the main prerequisite for success for companies engaged in supplying security equipment, installing security systems and servicing them. This applies to various areas, from security hardware to personnel selection.
For example, it is commonly believed that people working in the field of technical security should have the highest but necessarily narrow specialization. However, this is not entirely true.
“We have people with different educational backgrounds, including law and information technology, - says Aleksey SHEVCHENKO, Acting Lead Engineer of GC «AM-Center». - I, for example, came here from the Institute of Space Research, worked in radio astronomy, and in recent years in plasma physics. Over more than 10 years of our company's work in the field of security systems, this approach to staff formation has fully justified itself: it gives GC «AM-Center» a significant market advantage – a broad outlook, the ability to offer unconventional solutions to problems, and to handle any non-standard situation with ease.
In particular, it is now impossible to do without deep knowledge of computer systems. All security equipment for installing intrusion and fire alarm systems today is closely related to data transmission systems. “AM-Center” is one of the few companies that can combine traditional methods with modern approaches. For example, installing video intercoms and simple video cameras with a distributed computer network at the customer's site. The installation of structured cabling systems (SCS) implies the integration of computer, telephone and alarm networks. This example is especially relevant when a facility occupies a large area and consists of several separated guarded buildings across the territory.
Almost every day new products and technological solutions appear in the field of security equipment and intrusion-fire alarm systems, and this forces us to constantly update our arsenal of knowledge and skills, track new trends in the field of security. The profession obliges, and we are always aware of the latest developments in technical security.”
A non-standard approach to creating a security system is a necessary condition for effective technical protection and reliable safety of a home and office. Individual solutions must be developed constantly. Nearly every one of the several hundred projects implemented by GC «AM-Center» in Moscow and the Moscow region required such an approach. Among these facilities are industrial enterprises and retail organizations, office premises, apartments, individual cottages and entire settlements, government and administrative institutions, archives, etc.
Each category of clients has its specific needs. Each facility requires a certain level of technical security. These requirements are primarily dictated by the specifics of the field of activity and, of course, the budget. In some cases, installing video intercoms is sufficient; in others, the most advanced detection systems are required, including combined perimeter protection systems. Storage of narcotic-containing substances implies one set of requirements for the intrusion-fire alarm system, while storage of valuables in banks implies another.
There are rather strict requirements for fire protection systems. Moreover, these regulations are constantly changing, and monitoring these changes is the task of designers and installers of fire alarm systems.
As a rule, mid-sized organizations and small offices limit themselves to installing fire alarm systems, if this, of course, does not contradict the applicable regulations for their field of activity.
In large organizations – in retail chains and banks (for example, the supermarket chains “Kopeyka”, “Mir kozhi i mekha”, large distributed bank branches – “City Bank”, “Delta Bank”, “TransCreditBank” and others) there is a special specificity.
“For chain organizations it is very important to plan equipment continuity several years in advance, - explains Alexander Davidchuk, Deputy Director of GC «AM-Center». - If today a particular intrusion-fire alarm system is installed in one branch of a bank, one must immediately provide for compatibility of this equipment with the equipment that will be installed in other new branches. A year, two years or more may pass before the next branch opens. During that time the security equipment of the first branch may become morally obsolete. There will be a need to replace it with newer and more modern equipment. And that will require additional (and considerable) organizational and financial costs.”
Different facilities require different approaches. Even the form of ownership of the client company imposes its own specifics on the process. GC «AM-Center» has experience working with both individuals and legal entities, including budgetary organizations. The main condition is to avoid standard solutions.
