Public joint-stock company «Brest Carpets» is a textile enterprise specializing in making face-to-face wrought Jacquard carpets with of 100% wood, 30% wood - 70% synth., 100% synth.(PA+PAN).
The Company was established in 1960 and since then has undergone a number of structural and technical transformations.
Brest Carpet Integrated Works was started in July 1960. After the reconstruction period in 1976 to 1984 the enterprise has become one of the largest producers of face-to-face carpets in Europe. In 1994 the Brest Carpet Production amalgamation was transformed into Public joint-stock company «Brest Carpets».
The Enterprise is comprised of:
- Spinning mill, of capacity 7320 tones of yarn spinning per annum, with 9720 spindles.
- Weaving mill capacity for capacity 5 million square m of carpets per annum.
